Ádám Gali's home pageMy research background is ab-initio computational materials science focusing on point defects in bulk and nanostructures semiconductor materials. The corresponding upgraded lecture notes (Hungarian text) can be found here. After winning the so-called Lendület Award of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences experiments were initiated in my research group to realize the ideas from quantum mechanical simulations. Now the experimental and computational fractions of my research group work in symbiosis to develop new materials in the field of solar cells, biomarkers and solid state quantum information processing.
