Abstract:
Lanzhou University (LZU) is the best university of Gansu Province and among the TOP30 Chinese Universities. 30 000 graduate and postgraduate students are educated together with 2500 PhD-students. Prof. TS Wang gives an overview of the education programs at LZU and the research activities in the Institute of Radiation Physics and Material, which are connected to the application of different nuclear methods in material science.
