At the European Physical Society’s High Energy Physics Conference (HEP 2025) held in Marseille, the Gribov Medal was presented
The 2025 Gribov Medal is awarded to Lorenz Eberhardt for his groundbreaking contributions to modern string theory, which have led to fundamental advances in our understanding of holography, quantum gravity, and string amplitudes. Eberhardt’s work stands out for its conceptual depth, mathematical sophistication, and the elegance with which it addresses long-standing challenges in high-energy theoretical physics.
The Gribov Medal is an award founded by the MTA Wigner RCP and the Eötvös Loránd Physics Society in 2001, at the European Physics Society's EPS-HEP Conference, organised in Budapest at the time. Since then, the award winner has been chosen from the most talented theoretical physicists under the age of 35. |
