Károly Zoltán CSUKÁS, leader Isvtán RÁCZ (RMI), successfully defended his PhD thesis.

Zsolt Kovács (RMI) has been awarded a poster prize on EPS 47th Conference on Plasma Physics satellite meeting on "Laser-driven particle & radiation sources for applications"  for his poster titled "Concept for a novel THz-driven narrow energy spread relativistic electron source".

Olivér Surányi, leader Ferenc Siklér and Gábor Veres, successfully defended his PhD thesis titled "Study of central exclusive processes and forward neutrons with the CMS detector" (2021)

It is with deepest sadness and sorrow to report that our colleague József Gyulai passed away on 12 February 2021.

It is with deepest sadness and sorrow to report that our colleague Prof. János Füzi, the head of the Neutron Spectroscopy Department, distinguished scientist of the Budapest Neutron Centre and Professor at the University of Pécs – having lost his few-weeks desperate battle with an invasive illness – passed away on 11 January 2020.
