A new Special Issue of the Open Access journal Nanomaterials (MDPI, IF=4.324) is open for submissions. Two of our colleagues at the Department of Theoretical Solid State Physics, Institute for Solid State Physics and Optics, Wigner RCP, Krisztián Palotás and Balázs Újfalussy, together with László Szunyogh at the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics are invited to be Guest Editors of a Special Issue in the subject of "Atomic-Scale Properties of Magnetic Surfaces, Interfaces, and Nanostructures". The Special Issue is open for submissions in the given topic until 31 May 2021.
