Review on the extended Linear Sigma Model published in Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics (PPNP)

One of our colleagues, Péter Kovács (Department of Computational Sciences & Department of Theoretical Physics), together with Francesco Giacosa (University of Kielce) and Shahriyar Jafarzade (Arizona State University), has published a comprehensive review article in the prestigious journal Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics (IF: 14.5).
The article, titled "Ordinary and exotic mesons in the extended Linear Sigma Model", summarizes more than 15 years of results related to the extended Linear Sigma Model (eLSM)—a phenomenological quark-meson model that shares the global symmetries of QCD. It offers a unified framework for understanding both conventional (quark-antiquark) and exotic mesons, glueballs, and chiral symmetry restoration at high temperature and density.
