Title: On the construction of hyperboloidal initial data without logarithmic singularities I.
Date: Friday, 6 June, 2025. 14:00
Place: Building 3, Conference room
Abstract:
This is the first of two consecutive seminars, with one week between them. The goal of this seminar is to introduce the basic concepts and theoretical principles referenced in the title. We will also review known results regarding the occurrence of poly-logarithmic expansions in relation to asymptotically hyperboloidal initial data sets. In the follow-up seminar, Károly Csukás will provide details and applications of our argument verifying that the existence of well-defined Bondi mass and angular momentum, together with some restrictions on the free data, implies the absence of logarithmic singularities in the generic solutions of the parabolic-hyperbolic form of the constraint equations.
