Title: n the construction of hyperboloidal initial data without logarithmic singularities II

Date: Friday, 13 June 2025. 14:00

Place: Building 3, Conference room

Abstract:

This is the second of two consecutive seminars, with one week between them. Last week we introduced the basic concepts and theoretical principles referenced in the title, and we also reviewed known results regarding the occurrence of poly-logarithmic expansions in relation to asymptotically hyperboloidal initial data sets. This week we will provide details and applications of our argument verifying that the existence of well-defined Bondi mass and angular momentum, together with some restrictions on the free data, implies the absence of logarithmic singularities in the generic solutions of the parabolic-hyperbolic form of the constraint equations. Furthermore we support our argument with examining a numerically constructed rotating black hole solution.
