The Functional Nanostructures Research Group focuses on the research of multiferroic materials, neutron super mirrors, biological membranes, fundamental physical phenomena, and methodological issues within the framework of extensive international collaborations. The group oversees the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) equipment associated with the FunMatLab (NKFIH Top 50 Functional Materials Laboratory) and has direct access to the GINA neutron reflectometer, and is also actively involved in the operation and development of the Mössbauer laboratory. Additionally, group members regularly carry out measurements at European synchrotron and neutron facilities (ESRF, FRM 2) and develop programs used for evaluations.
