HUN-REN Wigner RCP, together with the HEPTech Network successfully organized the seventh Academia-Industry Matching Event (AIME23) at Budapest, between 6-7 of November 2023.
The aim of this two-day event is to bring together Academic researchers and Industry experts to share ideas and potential applications, and foster collaborations in the field of theoretical and practical aspects of AI in Medicine, Economy, and Finance, which was the main topic of this year. At the event more Hungarian universities and research institutes has participated and among the speakers were distinguished specialists such as Miklós Szócska, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Public Administration, Tamás Hegedűs Semmelweis University, Han Dols the leader of the CERN Business Development & Entrepreneurship Section or Zoltán Toroczkai, theoretical physicist from the University of Notre Dame USA.
The two-day program provided an opportunity for young people at the beginning of their careers to introduce themselves in addition to senior researchers with extensive professional experience who have been researching in the field for a long time. We are confident that the event, which is now becoming a tradition, will be able to appeal to more and more people every year, both from the scientific community and industrial participants.
