The pp physics program of ALICE for the LHC runs 3 and 4 considers the study of pp collisions with extremely high multiplicities at mid-
pseudorapidity. In this talk, I will discuss the selection biases we may encounter, and a new event classifier named flatenicity, which can be used to reduce those biases.
